Central Elementary had its 3rd Annual Mock Caldecott Contest! Students and teachers read and evaluated more than 20 picture books, using criteria similar to that of the Caldecott Committee of the American Library Association. Each grade level chose one book for their Mock Caldecott Medal and two Honor books. The discussions and excitement around their new favorite books were truly inspiring!
