Mrs. Perry's class has been learning about habitats and how animals survive in those habitats. Her second grade class created habitats for their animals and included the things they needed to survive in those habitats.

Math + Uno = Fun Learning! This week, Dr. Berry’s sixth-grade math classes put their skills to the test by using Uno cards to practice multiplying decimals. Students had a blast turning a favorite game into a hands-on math challenge!
Mrs. Duffey’s fourth-grade students had some amazing learning adventures! In ELA, they visited the Starbooks Café where they sampled different genres of books to kick off the school year.
Mrs. Knapp’s first-grade students at Western had a fun Friday in math! They worked on the addition skills we had been learning about! Students used M&M’s as our counters, graphed them, and got to eat the yummy treat! It was a delightful way to end the week!
