Session 1: Students will continue work within the OhioMeansJobs site in the "Explore It" section. Under this tab, the students will take an assessment in the Career Profile section to discover and understand their work personality and work interest code. The premise of this code is to match individuals with other individuals (who love their job) and share the same interests as they do. If a student can match their passions with other individuals who love their profession, then it is reasonable to say that they would like that same profession. Consequently, once students discover what their interest code is, they can then search for careers that engage those interests. The comprehensive  O*NET website will be introduced to students to help them conduct career searches based on their interest code and Learning Style (6th grade survey activity that was saved in the "back pack").
