Kindergarten Registration 2024-2025
Lexington Local Schools is excited to provide full-day Kindergarten to children living in the district that will be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2024.
Registration Information
The registration window will be open Tuesday, April 16 – June 7th at WESTERN ELEMENTARY. In-person registration dates are listed below. Our transportation department will be available to answer your questions and additional staff will be available to assist with Final Forms.
Tuesday, April 16 from 9:30 – 2:30
Wednesday, April 17 from 9:30 – 2:30
Thursday, April 18 from 9:30 – 2:30 and 4:00 – 7:00pm
Friday, April 19 from 9:30 – 2:30

Additional Information
Your child is not required to attend registration.
FinalForms will open March 1st for the 2024-25 school year.

Required documents to complete your child’s registration are:
• Child’s original birth certificate
• Child’s social security card
• Child’s immunization record
• Custody papers, if applicable
• Utility bill for proof of residency
• Your driver’s license
Kindergarten Screening Dates
May 6 – 9, 2024 Appointments for Kindergarten screening can be made during in-person registration or when you bring the required documents to the building.

Fundations - Wilson Language Training
Students in grades K-2 use the Wilson Fundations program on a daily basis. Fundations provides research-based materials and strategies essential to a comprehensive reading, spelling, and handwriting program. Fundations is a recognized leader in multisensory, structured language programs. Fundations makes learning to read fun while laying the groundwork for life-long literacy.
